Why Can’t Everyone Be an Entrepreneur?

By no means, and under no intentions is this an attempt to demoralize budding thinkers and implementers. The world is changing at an unprecedented pace, and it is changing for good. You can skip the queues today by paying your bills online, you can converse with your relative in as far as the US via VoIP, you can carry documents in a digital wallet; all in all, this change has brought us many pluses.

But has this come by itself, without interventions, worthy innovations and creative thinking? No, indeed! It wasn’t mining ore from beneath the earth, it wasn’t like extracting iron or coal; this is much more. This is sheer revolution and those who made this happen are whom we term ‘entrepreneurs’. And being one needs that extra bit of vision, hard work and ability to take risks.

Digital uprising has led every youth into thinking that she/ he too can be an entrepreneur. Certainly, you can be. Do note, however, that the ingredients to be the perfectly flavored entrepreneur aren’t available in the market, not even in sparkling B-schools and so-called leadership workshops.

Not every one of us learns from our daily interaction with the outside world, not every one of us thinks of unexploited prospects in the market, not all have the courage to implement the idea even when it can be a probable game changer. But those who conceive these untapped opportunities, read the prevailing threats wisely and execute the plan smartly make to the topmost echelon, make it to being an ‘entrepreneur’.

Brainstorm, brainstorm and brainstorm – until you are sure that the idea that has struck your mind is viable and can be sustainably implemented.You can’t skip even a single step of the ladder in a rush to become popular. Come on, don’t you know it well that everyone around you has an idea in mind; everyone is aspiring to be that ‘popular guy’? To surpass all, bring feasibility and ease of applicability to your venture.

Not everyone can be an entrepreneur – this phrase comes up with a challenge posed to you. Tell us, defy the phrase, with your exceptional courage and vision. Let world be the critique.
